We want to invite members of GCIR and CIS, but also people from other institutions and universities, to participate! You can either simply join the meeting and participate in the discussions, or you can present a poster with work relevant to the topic. We will collect a participation fee of 10 € per day that will cover your lunch.
To get the most out of the workshop, we want people who want to participate to stay for all talks, the whole workshop, not come a little each day.
If you want to participate, please send me an email until the end of next week, i.e. until the July 9. If you want to present a poster, please also send me a title and a short abstract. Format and the available space will limit our ability to add participants, but we will try our best to accomodate everybody. We will give some priority to GCIR/CIS members, as they are sponsoring this workshop, but please do not hesitate to forward this email to other people also outside CIS who might be interested in participating.
The workshop is supported by funding from FCT in three ways: Directly by providing “Fundo de apoio à communidade científica” (Proc. 10/1/758), and indirectly through funding available from the projects PTDC/PSI/64219/2006 and PTDC/PSI-PSO/098949/2008.
Furthermore, CIS and its research group GCIR (Group Processes and Intergroup Relations) are supporting the workshop financially.
This is going to be the website & blog of the workshop on Social Relations: Cognitive Models and Embodiment, which will take place in September 2010 in Lisbon. In some ways, the workshop is the continuation of an expert meeting that took place in the fall of 2008 in Arraiolus.
